Background: Parathyroid carcinoma (PC) is an infrequent pathology, responsible for 0.5–5% of primary hyperparathyroidism cases. Despite the high prevalence of secondary hyperparathyroidism in patients with a chronic kidney disease (CKD), PC among them is extremely rare, with less than 30 cases reported in the literature.
